About Journal

Journal of Literary Education is a scholarly publication focusing on the study and development of literature education. The journal publishes original articles covering various aspects, including literature teaching methodologies, literature curriculum, assessment in literature learning, literary criticism, and innovations in literature education practices across different educational levels.

The journal is run by the Association of Indonesian Literary Scholars, Malang Chapter (Himpunan Sarjana Kesusastraan Indonesia/HISKI Komisariat Malang). We invite contributions from academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to share research findings, theoretical insights, and relevant practical experiences. The journal aims to enrich the body of knowledge in literature education and serve as a platform for constructive scholarly discourse.

The Journal of Literary Education accepts submissions of original articles that have not been published elsewhere, are not under consideration or being processed for publication anywhere else, and show no evidence of plagiarism whatsoever. Prerequisites, standards, and manuscript formatting are outlined in the author guidelines and template. Each accepted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Authors are not charged any fees throughout the entire process, which includes article submission, review and editing process, and publication.

We are pleased to announce that our journal is back online. Recently, our platform suffered a malicious attack that temporarily disrupted access and resulted in the loss of six issues (Vol 4 No 1 - Vol 6 No 2). We have now successfully restored the site and re-uploaded all six affected issues.
