About Journal

Journal of Literary Education is a scholarly publication focusing on the study and development of literature education. The journal publishes original articles covering various aspects, including literature teaching methodologies, literature curriculum, assessment in literature learning, literary criticism, and innovations in literature education practices across different educational levels.

The journal is run by the Association of Indonesian Literary Scholars, Malang Chapter (Himpunan Sarjana Kesusastraan Indonesia/HISKI Komisariat Malang). We invite contributions from academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to share research findings, theoretical insights, and relevant practical experiences. The journal aims to enrich the body of knowledge in literature education and serve as a platform for constructive scholarly discourse.

The Journal of Literary Education accepts submissions of original articles that have not been published elsewhere, are not under consideration or being processed for publication anywhere else, and show no evidence of plagiarism whatsoever. Prerequisites, standards, and manuscript formatting are outlined in the author guidelines and template. Each accepted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Authors are not charged any fees throughout the entire process, which includes article submission, review and editing process, and publication.

Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

Jurnal Pembelajaran Sastra currently charges no fees (no APC).
Authors are not charged for any stage of publication: submission, peer review, editing, publication, or access to the article.
Acceptance and publication depend on compliance with the manuscript requirements set by the Editor in Chief and the results of peer review.
This no-fee policy applies to all authors regardless of affiliation, country of origin, or research funding source.
If any changes to this policy are introduced in the future, the journal will announce them on the journal website in advance. Changes will not be applied retroactively to manuscripts already in process.

Note:

The journal does not collect any additional fees (e.g., processing fees, fast-track fees, color charges, or access fees) at any stage.
